The Origin Story…

I wanted to share a little about the background of RK Complete Harmony Fitness. First let me start with this moment I will NEVER forget…

I was so proud of my transformation, but I am never going to forget when my parents said I looked like a ghost. 

I brushed it off..

What I couldn’t see at the time was someone who was eating and exercising in a way that was unsustainable and not good for me. I was working with an MLM company and I THOUGHT I was learning, sharing, and doing all of the things to get me “back on track”

You see I was a competitive runner from middle school all the way through college— and once graduating I felt a little lost and overwhelmed about what to do with my health. How was my collegiate competitive mindset around eating and working out supposed to translate into my “adult real world” life?

So I turned to something that seemed right.

Turns out I was eating way to little…. and working out way too much…

Of course it was all unintentional on my part. I thought I was being healthy and making good decisions— at the start perhaps I was. But this was the problem it was all unintentional. I just followed along. 

So many of us do this when we go to make changes to our health and wellness. We just go with it or follow the trend without thinking about what might work for us, what we need, and why we want to follow those things!

Not only was I following a meal plan that was promoting too little calories, but I was also following a fitness plan that was inflexible and had me feeling guilty when I didn’t get the day in. 

Does this sound familiar? 

Well, eventually I figured it out and realized there was a better way (which was the start of certifications and education for me). Then after being pregnant and having my daughter— Everything changed again… for the better of Course

This has all led to the reason behind my programming. I work to help bring you long lasting changes to your mindset & behavior around your health and wellness.

I work to help you bring practical everyday wellness changes that not only help you reach your goal but help you find joy in the process without adding more chaos to your day.

Your health is so much more then that 10 pounds you want to lose. It’s also about what happens after that 10 pounds.

This mindset and philosophy is what both my 1:1 coaching & New PFFF membership are all about.

-Fitness plans that make sense, help you progress, and help show you real success & progress

-Nutrition programming that is focused on fueling your body without restriction

-Faith Focused- My programming is filled with the Joy of the Lord.

- A plan and program that you have a say in. Nobody knows you, your body & mind better than you.

Overall, We work towards slowing down, being intentional with our health all while having it fit your actual life and actual needs. Being intentional and slowing down doesn’t have to mean more time. It means focusing in on what we are doing— We can be intentional, effective, and efficient all at the same time.

You don’t have to just go along with whatever

But you can make actual changes in your health for the long haul!
